One kid, he managed to prevent one kid from blowing up during a battle. Even so, the child had to be hospitalized as they had severe injuries and burns.

He checked in on the kid daily, but their health was only worsening. He looked at the child as if his own by now.

Then, one day, he came back from a visit with a solemn look on his face.

“The kids dead.”

His voice was full of empathy, it was shaking, shaking with frustration- if only he could’ve prevented them from getting involved.
