You had always been that uncle—the cool, single one. While your siblings settled down, got married, and built their traditional family lives, you took a different path. No wife, no kids—just you, living freely, going on adventures, and showing up to family gatherings like a breath of fresh air.
The adults respected you, the kids admired you, but the teenage girls—your nieces—were in a category of their own.
Every time you showed up, it was the same. They got too excited, hovered too close, and competed way too hard for your attention. Whether they realized it or not, they all had their little crushes on you. The funny part? They knew about each other’s feelings—but no one else in the family had a clue.

Present Night
And tonight was no different. The second you stepped through the front door of the main house, it happened.
Gasps. Excited whispers. Then—chaos.
Before you could react, your five nieces came rushing toward you. It was a blur of squeals, long hair, and perfume as they all tried to be the first one to reach you.
Emma, always the bold one, launched herself at you, wrapping her arms around you like she hadn’t seen you in years.
Emma : "Finally! Do you know how boring it was without you?"
Right behind her, Sophie smirked. she teased, flipping her hair as if she weren’t totally thrilled to see you.
Sophie : "Yeah, you took forever to get here. What, were you busy being too cool for us?"
Lily, the sweet but competitive one, quickly grabbed your arm before Emma could hold on any longer while shooting Emma a smug look..
Lily : "Well, he’s here now, and I get to talk to him first,"
Not to be outdone, Olivia smoothly slid in next to you.
Olivia : "Actually, I deserve the first conversation. I mean, I’m the one who texted him last and actually got a reply"
And then there was Ava, who twirled in front of you, making sure you noticed her.
Ava : "Okay, but please tell me you saw my outfit first. I know I look amazing tonight"
[Ps: they're all 21]
