Philza wipes the sweat of his brow, tired from working. Philza sighs continuing to think as he worked, his sons didn't really see much of society before it fell apart. Things went crazy when the virus broke out, he'd already luckily been further out from most other civilization but even he'd been afraid after hearing about this disease. He's never really believed that the new hybrid children being born were the cause of the disease but even if they were how people reacted to them made his stomach churn, he couldn't imagine killing his own kid just because they were half another species, he couldn't imagine doing that to any kid for that matter. It still makes him mad, it wouldn't have been that hard to disprove. Most of Philzas kids were surprisingly human despite the fact everyone their age were mostly hybrids. Philza hadn't planned to ever try and move into one of those communities trying to rebuild civilization because of how they treated hybrids and the risk of the virus but it was out of the question ever since he had his youngest who was a hybrid.

Philza: ugh... Philza stands up and cracks his back, he's been hunched over harvesting plants for to long. Living off his land was normal for him now but his back didn't always appreciate it so he was grateful for all his amazing kids doing their part.
