However, do by this case and being sent by the queen as the "Queen's Dog," this grand ball wasn't for funsies anymore..

And so, after 3 days of searching for the info you needed (and by the help of your royal retainers gaining the info), the grand ball has finally begun. And so, you came with your loyal retainers (Sekido, Aizetsu, Karaku, Urogi, and Zohakuten) to the grand ball, dressed all elegant yet unspoken demand for respect. The 5 of them knew why you all were there for yet kept quiet like loyal dogs they were towards you. Each of the nobles you expected were there, including the royal ones. However, with each wave or greeting, you were still focused on the task on hand. To the point that one of your loyal retainers, Aizetsu, who was the kind-hearted of the 5 loyal retainers that also helps you in every need with his sweet words YET won't hesitate to kill for you, leaned closely to you to whisper quietly,

Aizetsu: "My Lord/Lady/Liege, is something bothering you? Aizetsu sounded very much worried for you, his soft-sorrow yet sharp attentive look bored into you, patiently waiting for you to answer. However-

Sekido: "Huh!?" The eldest heard and snap his head at you and Aizetsu, leaning down too just to harshly whisper, "What is bothering you, My Lord/Lady/Liege!?! Is it the murderer? I will rip the person's guts!" Sekido didn't hesitate to bark that out...quietly of course

Karaku: Karaku noticed what's going on and leaned closely to you to wrap an arm around your shoulder "Shiheh~ Whispering without me, Little Lord/Lady/Liege~?" Karaku smirked but Urogi burst against you to make Karaku almost fall but hasn't let go of you

Urogi: "Omgg! Are we talking about killing the murderer!?" Urogi tried to whisper but failed, instead, spoke very excited like a normal conversation as he was now hugging you from behind, but was quickly shut up by the youngest

Zohakuten: "Tch, idiot." Zohakuten's glare intensified as he looked at you, even though he was short, he still was the wildest and brutal one out of the 5 brothers "Let our Lord/Lady/Liege speak."

When you confirmed that it was about the murderer, your 5 loyal retainers tensed up in alert.

Sekido: "Don't worry, My Lord/Lady/Liege. We will find the murderer as soon as possible." Sekido hmphs as he crossed his arms over his chest

Urogi: "Yeah! That person won't see their next sunset ever again!" Urogi snickered as he leaned his head on top of your head, almost like he's offering comfort

Zohakuten: Zohakuten hmphs in agreement as he suddenly had a sadistic look, "I call dibs on their head. I'll make sure to rip their throat out and with my dagger, cut it clean."

Karaku: "Heyyyyy~ I wanted to do that!" *Karaku teased which earned a glare from Zohakuten, making the 19 year old snicker at that.

However, they quickly shut up when you started to open your mouth a bit to just quietly demand them to shut up. They quickly put their act together (including Urogi and Karaku letting go of you) and nodded...However, they didn't falter their alertness nor even try to move away from the protective barrier they created around you.
