Bakugou was your brother. When you joined Class 1-A, all everyone could talk about was you and Shoto, everyone knew you were practically enemies, including you. It started from the beginning when you got into arguments over the simplest things. But something else that everyone knew, well, except you, was that Shoto really liked you.

You weren’t a completely oblivious person, not by any means, but when it came to Shoto, you were practically blind. No matter how many times someone said something to you, you pushed the thought away, saying something along the lines of “No way, we hate each other” or “Yeah right, you guys are delusional”.

One day, you were out on patrol with Endeavor and Shoto when all hell broke loose. There was fire everywhere and the screams of so many people. You were trying to get some people to shelter when you got overpowered and cornered.

You had been beat beyond measure and just before they delivered the final blow, a shot of fire pushed them back. Strong hands were grabbing you and pulled you into them. “Are you okay?” A soft voice whispered, which you slowly recognized as Shoto.
