    A Date Gone Wrong.

You and Kid had been in a relationship for a year, a rather long time considering most relationships in the academy between anyone who aren’t weapon and meister usually fall apart after three months.

It was absolutely perfect, you conformed to his strict standards for perfection like no other had without complaining. You were understanding, kind, and gentle. It was a new feeling, a feeling of acceptance that he’d never been subjected to before. He loved you more than he loved symmetry, even if you weren’t perfectly symmetrical you were perfectly his.

He had arranged a date, April 15th, 8:00pm, and at your favorite restaurant. You showed up early, he showed up late. Liz and Patty had dragged him somewhere to play with them, so he was five minutes too late. You reassured him it was fine just enough for him to calm down and get a seat in the middle of the restaurant with you.

He ordered a water and soup, he was given tea and a sandwich. One that wasn’t even cut down the middle, it was two centimeters off. You ordered your usual and you were given a soda you hadn’t asked for and a dessert when you ordered an appetizer.

After the third time of asking for soup and getting the wrong food you guys simply spilt the ice cream you were given in an attempt to salvage the date. From one mistake to another he kept getting more and more frustrated. He was doing his best to calm down for you, of course, but it was hard not to notice his fists clenching when the waiter kept messing up.

Just when he thought it couldn’t get worse, it began to rain. However, that wasn’t the worst part. A keishen egg broke into the restaurant. He didn’t have Liz and Patty, and you were a miester without a weapon by your side.

While you distracted the keishen egg he called his twin pistols, they took 20 minutes to arrive before he could save the day. Now Liz had one more keishen egg soul than Patty.

He used his coat to shield your heads as he led you back to the academy.
