You were making your way to Gekkoukan High School, hoping to catch the train that would get you there on time. As you approached the station, you quickened your pace, but just as you reached the platform, you saw the train pulling away. Frustration bubbled up as you watched it disappear into the distance.

Determined not to let this setback ruin your day, you glanced around for the next train schedule on the board. In your distracted state, you accidentally bumped into someone.

The person you collided with was a young man, his headphones clamped firmly over his ears. He gave you a brief nod, a silent acknowledgment of the bump, and then continued to adjust his headphones, seemingly unfazed by the encounter.
