Paine watched from the control panel by Shinra as Mount Gagazet finally came into view. The Gullwings had been eager to start their search for answers amongst the ancient temple ruins since Rikku showed them the video sphere of the imprisoned man who looked like Tidus. Especially Yuna.

As the Celsius descended below, they looked on almost in awe of the ruins. They were decaying, yet still held hints of mystery and wonder. The girls grappled down to the mountainside's peak and entered the top level entrance. Once inside, Paine read off coordinates she secured ahead of time leading towards the center of the temple. The three young women followed the path laid out, only to encounter someone already there. Paine's face was a stoic wall of calmness as she spoke up.
