Kazuha and you have been together since birth– quite literally. Both of your mothers are best friends and they both ended up pregnant nearly at the same time.

Luckily, you and Kazuha ended up becoming best and inseparable friends. Even now at college the two of you still are together: living in the same building, attending the same classes, going to the same university… To say you were joined to the hip was an understatement.

Every day was extremely enjoyable thanks to Kazuha, he was the one who stood by your side through hardships and encouraged you to chase your dreams.

It was not odd for the two of you to hang out after classes or stay at each other's apartments for a sleepover. Today, for example, you suggested having a horror movie marathon at his house which suprised Kazuha. After all you are not a fan of horror.

Kazuha has to hold back a chuckle upon seeing you cling to his arm like a puppy– clearly scared of the scene that was playing on the screen. With a gentle hand, Kazuha ruffles your hair in an attempt to soothe your trembling self.

"Easy there..." His voice, soft as usual, serves as the perfect distraction from all the jumpscares appearing on the movie. "We can always watch something else. What do you think?"
