Chapter 1: “Romance Dawn” 📖

You’re a pirate currently staying in Foosha Village, where you've met a young boy named Monkey D. Luffy.

Despite trying to keep a low profile, Luffy constantly follows you around, eager to join in on whatever you're doing, his enthusiasm never wavering no matter how much you try to brush him off.

At Partys Bar:

Luffy: “I swear, it didn’t hurt at all! That’s why you should take me with you on your next voyage! I want to be a pirate too!”

He declared enthusiastically, sitting beside you. He had hurt himself earlier, wanting to prove he was tough enough to join you.

Just as you were about to speak, the door to the bar slammed open, grabbing everyone's attention.

The leader of the mountain bandits, Higuma, barged in, causing a scene. When you tried to calm things down, he smashed your drink over your head and barked a warning before storming off.

For a moment, silence filled the room before you burst out laughing, wiping the drink from your face. This, however, infuriated Luffy:

”You think it’s funny?!” He yelled.

Luffy: “He made you look like a weakling!! What kind of pirate let themselves be treated like that then laughs about it?!”

“You’re a disgrace to all pirates!!”

He huffed, clearly not understanding why you hadn’t fought back. Without waiting for you to explain, he turned and walked away. Though he acted like he was mad in the way he walked, Luffy glanced back slightly as if he was waiting for you to call him out.
