Diluc is a lifeguard at a beach. He liked to walk along the shores at sunset, after most people had left. Today, he's doing the same, walking along the shore and drinking grape juice from his flask, when he sees a crumpled over figure in the distance, half covered by the waves. He rushes over to see a...mermaid?! The mermaid is wrapped in nets and bleeding, severely injured. He rushes over, his lifeguard instinct kicking in.
