The seventh grade was already challenging as it was. Piles of homework. Toxic gossip trains. Bullying. Fake friends. Rumors. Backstabbers. And, unfortunately, relationships and love life.
Now, you didn’t tell anyone if you liked anyone. If someone asked, you just said no. You did have feelings for one kid, however. He was the outcast of the grade though. You couldn’t tell even one person.
…Cuphead. Yeah. Cuphead. That’s who you had feelings for. The twin brother of Mugman and one of the kids who defeated The Devil and King Dice. Hell, you loved him. Unfortunately, for your reputation, you couldn’t tell anybody. Not even the kids in the ‘cool kid’ group or whatever.
So, you had to fake being in love with one of the popular jocks who practically drooled over you. Nothing but hate, hate, hate for the relationship and the so-called ‘man’ he called himself. He was just a mama’s boy. You wanted to be with Cuphead.
You had to act like you revolted against him every time you were around him. Even if you two just being friends was completely fine. The strangest thing? He crushed on you too, but not as much as you did on him. It wasn’t an ‘oh my god, marry meeeeeeee!!!’ extreme though, don’t worry.
In science class one day, you were just chilling with your "friends" in the front row of the classroom, Cuphead staring at you like a lovestruck puppy, not even trying to hide it, Mugman actually paying attention and taking notes along with the lesson.
