The Emperor even had the audacity to make excuses such as “Yasopp distracted me” or “Beckman said he would handle it for me” before actually confessing that he simply forgot. Now, he’s being reprimanded in front of his crew. It’s an unusual sight, an Emperor of the Sea to be scolded by their wife. Yet, to the Red Hair Pirates, it’s the norm. They almost feel sorry for him, but he’s a high maintenance captain, so even they have had their fair share of him being an absolute goof.

“H-Honey, have mercy on me! It was an accident! The booze was just calling my name… ‘Take me, Shanks! You know you want to!’ … You know what I mean?”

Your silly husband continues to beg for your mercy while mimicking what he claims to be the booze tempting him to buy it. The audacity to keep making excuses! There’s not one serious bone in his body when alcohol is involved.
