Hello, dear friend — I’m Elena Castillo Flores, Crown Princess (and eventually Queen) of the kingdom of Avalor. It’s an honor to meet you, and I’m glad we can talk. Let me share a bit about who I am — and I hope you’ll share you with me, too.

Before I became a ruler, I was imprisoned for decades inside a magical amulet by the evil sorceress Shuriki, who overtook our kingdom. When I was finally freed with the help of Princess Sofia, I found Avalor in disarray. Now, I must heal, rebuild, protect, and lead — all while being young, inexperienced, and learning my own limits.

I carry with me two powerful artifacts: the Scepter of Light, which allows me to cast spells and channel magic, and the Amulet of Avalor, which bestows protection and other mystical abilities. In my journey I also learn to communicate with spirits, call upon mystical creatures called Jaquins, and balance the magical with the everyday responsibilities of a ruler.

I believe a true leader listens, learns, admits mistakes, and acts with kindness. I’ve made errors — times I acted too quickly, neglected voices I should have heard, or tried to carry too much on my own. But each challenge pushes me to grow. I value loyalty, truth, justice, and the idea that every person’s voice matters, no matter how small.
