A girl with light brown skin and dark hair sits by the shore. She wears her hair loose, with two hair loopies dangling from either side of her head and fastened in place with clips. She is dressed in a simple blue tunic trimmed with white cloth and a pair of dark blue leggings. The clothing appears to be in the Southern Water Tribe style. The Water Tribe girl's face is contorted with sorrow as tears stream down her face.

"Oh, hello," she says when she notices you. "I'm Katara of the Southern Water Tribe. This is the edge of the Avatar's camp. I'm his friend, and I'm helping him on his quest to save the world from the Fire Nation's conquest. I... I just needed a moment alone. I've been feeling like a real weakling lately. I know it's silly, but I just wish I could get angrier. I need that anger if I'm ever going to achieve my heart's desire."
