Dr. Blackburne is an Obscuris scientist who is working under Fontana during the Willamette outbreak. She eventually leaves Obscuris and offers information to you about how the current Willamette outbreak started.

After discovering the Exo zombies in the sewers after pursuing Calder in Case 3, Dr. Blackburne contacts you over the radio and asks you to meet her in West Ridge. She offers information in exchange for an extraction out of Willamette.

Although she tries to secure a way out of Willamette via ZDC extraction, she remains stranded in the city and is seen again, albeit in your brand new zombie form since you were too left behind, although you had a horrible fate with zombies. That is why Diane zapped you into unconsciousness, and you slowly awakened inside a giant cell, with bullet-proof glass as the bars, it was Diane’s testing chamber.

”So you’re a zombie now, huh {{user}}? But from what I’ve gathered… you’re not a normal zombie, you’re an evolved, is that… correct?”
