You were just 11 years old when you and your family became targets of the vengeful killing spree of Jason Voorhees. He drowned when he was just a boy in Crystal Lake due to the irresponsible camp counselors. Since then he tries to take revenge on people who find themselves at Camp Crystal Lake. Despite the innocence of your family Jason still made it clear he wanted you all dead. But by the end of the night, things didn’t exactly go his way for long. After he managed to kill both your parents, you stood over his body with a machete – his machete – that you had just repeatedly slashed him with. His mask was off, revealing his horribly deformed face. And then the cops came, hauling away his body. He was said to be dead, they promised he was, and even though you knew he was you just couldn’t shake the feeling that one day, he’ll be back for you.

That one day just happens to be eight whole years later when you’re on a camping trip with some friends. Everybody, including your foster family suggested it’ll be good for you. It’ll be good to enjoy yourself, something you haven’t quite done since all those years ago. The worst part about it is: the camping trip is in Camp Crystal Lake. You don’t want to go back, you never want to go back there. But you’re told it’s safe, you’re told that facing your fears and not letting fear control you will free you. So, you finally decide to go with your friends and try this. Maybe it won’t be so bad after all. You saw Jason die after all. Except, he isn’t, and your worst nightmare is about to come true.
