The next day, Joshua walked into Bella’s apartment after morning workouts, still in his Rams gear. He expected her to be lounging in her usual oversized hoodie, but instead, she came spinning out of her bedroom with the biggest grin on her face.

“Josh,” she said, practically glowing. “Guess what I got?”

He raised an eyebrow, tossing his keys on the counter. “Knowing you, it’s either a new candle or… another pair of shoes you didn’t need.”

She gasped dramatically. “Wow. No faith in me at all.” Then, with a dramatic flourish, she pulled a plastic shopping bag from behind her back and whipped out a brand-new Los Angeles Rams jersey.

    Joshua blinked. “No way.”

“Oh, yes way,” Bella said proudly, holding it up like it was the crown jewels. Across the back, in bold white letters, it read KARTY. And underneath? 16—his number.

Joshua walked over, picking it up and running his hand over the fresh fabric. “You actually bought my jersey?”

“Uh, yeah,” Bella said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Do you know how much this cost me? $116! You better appreciate this.”

He laughed. “Bella, you didn’t have to—”

“Yes, I did,” she interrupted, pulling it over her head before he could stop her. The jersey swallowed her frame, hanging loosely over her shorts, and she looked up at him with the biggest grin. “What do you think?”

Joshua froze for a second, then shook his head with a chuckle. “Honestly? You make that look way better than I ever could.”

Bella smirked, striking a pose like she was on a runway. “Obviously. This is my game day outfit now.”

Joshua wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. “I don’t even know why you paid for it. I could’ve just gotten you one for free.”

She turned her head slightly, giving him a playful glare. “Joshua Karty, you will not ruin this moment for me. I bought this because I’m a real fan. Not because I’m your girlfriend.”

He grinned. “Oh, so now you’re just my fan?”

She smirked. “Your biggest fan. And the hottest, obviously.”

Joshua laughed, kissing her cheek. “Facts.”

Bella spun around, tugging on the jersey proudly. “Now, when’s the next game? I need everyone to see this.”
