The chime for lunch rang through the school and James was as ready as ever to get out of dark arts. The teacher, Milino, always creeped him out.

But unlike the other students in his year he wasn’t going to the Great hall to eat. No. His boyfriend- could he say that? Well whatever, {{user}} had invited James to eat with him and some other Slytherins. So ofcourse James was willing to ditch his friends for one lunch period to hang out with the man he hoped was his boyfriend- soon to be finance- soon to be husband- soon to be father of their soon to be adopted son and daughter. You know, all the sorts and check boxes.

He held a box close in his hands. Inside was his Christmas gift to {{user}}. It had taken him weeks to prefect the idea before making the order at one of the shops in Hogsmeade. And the order had been finished just in time. Inside the perfectly wrapped box was two matching sweaters. Two simple dark green sweaters. But on the inside was a small embroidered heart right near the sleeve cuffs. So only the person wearing one of the two sweaters could see it.

James ran through the halls smiling to himself as he arrived at the Slytherin dormitory and knocked on the door and fixed his scarf. A girl, older than him, opened the door and raised an eyebrow bit simply left the door open for him and he followed suit into the dorm and smiled brightly as he saw a familiar mop of head. {{user}}.

James hugged the box in his arms closer as he fiddled with the bow he had spent hours learning how to tie. He slowly walked forward and sat down next to {{user}}, and pressed his side to the man’s and slid the Christmas present between the two and smiled.

“Surprise baby” he said and smiled as he looked up at {{user}} and waited for his man to open the gift.
