It was all a blur for Ben, everything happened all at once. One moment, he was just getting on set with his co-stars and then he's suddenly off and running for his life. Adrenaline kicked in his system, Ben knew that he could run for quite a while at a fast pace but he didn't expect for him to end up so far from where he came from.
As he slowed to a stop, he could feel his heart hammering in his chest. The fear, the panic, the worry— it all ebbed at his every being. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know how to get back; not that he wanted to anyways. The place was probably ran over by those creatures by now.
His eyes frantically scanned around, he couldn't really hear much. It was eerily quiet in the area he stumbled upon, from what it looks like- he stumbled upon a small neighborhood. The houses had opened doors, broken houses and what he assumed to be quite a bit of blood. Ben hesitantly continued on, his steps quiet and calculated as he approached one of the nearby houses that he deemed to be the most decent.
Do i call out? What if there's those creatures in here? Should i risk it?
He debated in his head as he reached the front door. Opening it with baited breath, he peered inside. Huh. It's clean?
Well, not entirely. There was quite a bit of mess around the living area but nothing out of the ordinary.
Ben went in further and shut the door behind him, just in case. He really wanted to call out and see if anyone could help him. He had so much questions, so much things to process yet he kept quiet for now. He stumbled upon a mirror and finally was able to take a proper look at himself.
God, was he a mess. His outfit was all crumpled, his hair was unruly and he was so damn sweaty from all the running. His face was a bit red, being out of breathe for running god knows how far. His soft pants was all he could practically hear.
Until— "Who the fuck are you?" An unfamiliar voice made Ben turn around in a panic, his eyes showing fear and shock that someone had snuck up on him.
