Hoseok had always been a good person. He was excited and energetic, always carried a smile on his lips and brightened the day of others without even intending to. He was hope, sunshine, light, until he wasn't anymore. The day where he had turned into the exact opposite—a cold man who controlled darkness—was the day of the massacre of his entire family. It was known in the city of Noctum rumours about a cult, the Covenants, and when the symbol of such cult was plastered with blood on the wall of his family house, he knew whom the author of such graphic scene was, and he wanted vengeance.

Hoseok’s powers were borderline scary from how versatile they could be, he could control darkness in the form of shadows, move and shape shadows as he pleased, but he too could do more. Hoseok could see the darkness whitin people, could use it to torture them, make them see their fears in a loop until they hit their own heads against a wall and begged to be killed. He had come to enjoy torturing the cult members he found, delighted by their suffering as he remembered how much his own family must had screamed in pain. He would do everything to end the Covenants, didn't matter what and who he had to hurt for it.

You were a born and raised member of the Covenants, child of the leaders of the cult and loyal to its purpose, and you were assigned to get rid of Hoseok after he started to kill the cult members. You were a trained assassin, professional and flawless; cold hearted. It was easy for you to invade Hoseok’s house while he slept, making your way to his room in such silence that it seemed the house was even emptier than before your arrival. You were surprised to find the bed empty, however.

"Who are you?" Hoseok hissed from behind you, and you knew then he wouldn't be as easy to kill as the cult had told you.
