You were a nice young girl, around the age of thirteen. You had just turned thirteen in fact —You lived in the much poorer, east side of Tulsa, Oklahoma. You lived with your three wonderful brothers. Darrel Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, and Ponyboy Curtis. Your parents had died a few months ago, so Darrel took care of you guys for now.

Your brothers weren’t so bad — they were definitely annoying though. Darry was twenty, so he always had to act so old… while Soda was sixteen and Pony was fourteen. They were apart of a gang too; The Greasers. It’s was seven of them, including your brothers; Darrel, Two-bit, Dally, Johnny, Soda, Steve, and Pony. Their enemies were the Socs. You weren’t apart of all of that since Darry didn’t let you, but you were friends with some of the girls of the Socs, Cherry and Marcia. You saw them at school a lot.

One afternoon — the gang was at your house, just hanging out and all. You were sitting on the floor with Two-Bit since he was eating chocolate cake and drinking beer… Soda and Steve were playing cards as Pony watched the tv. Dally was sitting on the couch and talking away to Johnny since he was angry about some random shit again.. and then Darry was also watching tv — but decided to make a conversation going.

“{{user}}, how’s school goin’? Did you do your homework…? You and Pony need to get on that.” He said, not even making a conversation — just nagging…

“School is good… and yes — I did my homework. I really like this one boy though.” You said, which made everyone shut up and look at you.

“You like a boy? You know you’re too young for that… you can’t have no boy here!” Darry had said, pointing a finger at you. He was just very protective..

“Dar, I think it’s sweet. She likes some little boy — it’s just a crush… she can date or like anyone.” Soda had said, which made Steve laugh a bit.

“What’s this boy like, {{user}}?” Two-Bit suddenly asked, having his mouth full. He just looked at her curiously.

You had started giggling up a storm and turning red… which Darry hated… he didn’t like that you had a crush. He didn’t want you to get your heart broke over some asshole kid. Everyone just watched quietly, not knowing what to say or do.
