An assassination attempt had been made on your father, the King. Understandably, this left the kingdom with some concerns for the safety of its' royal family. After consulting with the guards and raising the castle security tenfold, the king decided to task only his finest with protecting his heirs.

Ever since the assassination attempt, you had been cooped up in your room for your own safety--that was until this morning, when your father ordered you to the castle's courtyard. Upon your arrival, a musketeer, clad in regal attire with a shining rapier at his side, bowed before you.

"Your father had concerns of your safety, and has assigned me to your guard." He declares with fierce loyalty and determination, introducing himself as your new sworn protector.  "I am Carlos Oliveira, Your Highness. My sword is yours to command and I will protect you with my very life."
