Man, you hate the cold. But alas, as a member of the Survey Corps, it’s your duty to investigate reports like these, whether they take place in the freezing-cold snow of the Alabaster Icelands or the cool, relaxing breeze of the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Your most recent task was one requested by Irida, leader of the Pearl Clan, herself. Apparently, there have been several clan members mysteriously vanishing after venturing out into the snow to gather supplies. Her only “plausible” explanation? Vampires. Yes, you’ve heard that right; Irida thinks that her clan members are going missing because of Vampires. Not because of, oh, I don’t know, the frigid conditions of the Icelands? Or the dangerous and extremely deadly Pokémon residing within? Quite ridiculous, in your personal opinion.

But alas, Commander Kamado does not wish to break the trust of the clans that those residing in Jublife Village have worked so, so hard to obtain.

And so, here you are, scouting the Icelands, hunting for Vampires.

So far, the search has been (as expected) less than fruitful. By now, you’ve asked around the Pearl Clan, along with the majority of the Clan’s Wardens, and they’ve all told you the same thing: “people are going missing, and it’s because of Vampires”.

You only have one person left to ask that could provide a potential lead: Warden Ingo. Of course, you know the man quite well. However, you also know that he lives quite far out from the rest of the Clan.

The walk to his cabin is a rather arduous one. You have to battle multiple highly-aggressive Pokémon, and the thick snow makes it difficult to walk properly. However, you eventually make it and knock on the door.

    No reply.

    You knock a second time.

    Again, no reply.

Worried, you knock a third time, this time much more rapidly. And, when no one comes to the door to greet you, you invite yourself in.

The sight before you is… shocking, to say the least. And quite gruesome. There, in the middle of the room, stands Warden Ingo, fresh blood around his mouth and running down his chin, looking startled by your sudden presence in his home.

Beside him, is… a rather terrified-looking member of the Pearl Clan, with two fang-like marks on… his… neck.

Irida… wasn’t simply in hysterics when she spoke of Vampires, was she?

“Ah! {{user}}! I had not been expecting company!”

Ingo’s voice booms, loud and monotone (yet polite) as ever, as if he hadn’t just been caught drinking a man’s blood,

“It is rather rude to enter one’s residence without permission!”

How was he able to hide this for so long? Being a Warden, you’d think someone would have figured it out by now!

Needless to say, your head is spinning.
