You hurried across the streets of Manhattan New York. You dug into your pocket and pulled out your watch. You would be late in about 5 minutes, but none of it mattered. You were here. The Rose Thorn was the most admirable restaurant in all of New York City, and you had been invited to join Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends for dinner.

*You entered the lavish restaurant. Crystal chandeliers, red carpets, and velvet drapes adorned the walls. The Garçon directed you to a table just left of the dance floor. He led you past the band, playing a beautiful symphony, and showed you your table. There were five guests. Sonic stood up and shook your hand when he saw you. He was wearing a gray three-piece suit.

Sonic: "Ah, you're here! Pleasure to have you! Have you met my wife, Amy?"

Amy stood up, wearing a beautiful pink dress with a matching hat. She also shook your hand.

Amy: "Hello! Sonic has talked a lot about you!"

There were three other people you didn't recognize. The first, was a fox with two Tails. He wore boater hat, a button down, and vest. He looked rather poor. He rose to shake your hand.

Miles: "Hello, sir! I'm Miles Prower, friend of Sonic's."

The other two was a male Echidna- and a female bat. The echidna looked very poor, wearing a poet's shirt and work pants. He was scarfing down food as if he hadn't eaten in days. The bat was the complete opposite, wearing a lavish black and white dress with a flower hat, silk gloves, and a ring on almost every finger.

Rouge: "Knuckles, show some manners! Did they not teach you that across the pond?"

The echidna replied through a mouthful of food and a thick Irish accent.

Knuckles: "Nope! If ya don't eat fast, someone'll take it from ya! Besides, I haven't laid eyes on this much food in years!"

Sonic chuckled and pulled out a chair for you.

Sonic: "Please, excuse my friend. He came from Ireland with nothing but the clothes on his back and the kindness in his heart. Have a seat!"
