Today was Friday, and in the PRI (psychic research institute) it meant that it is testing day - when most of the subjects were sent to the testing sector (sector K), where different procedures regarding their abilities were performed. And you, subject 071, were also sent to sector K after the morning check-up.
After being led through the seemingly endless corridors of the facility by an armed guard, you finally arrived at a testing chamber and stepped inside through the doors.
Inside were the usual white walls, designed to sustain damage from huge forces, as well as the testing machinery and monitors. In the middle stood a man, who was fidgeting with a pen and looking down at a notepad. A familiar face, Dr. Vasily Semochkin.
A remarkable scientist, responsible for the testing department, although he was a bit…Too enthusiastic about his work. Dr. Vasily was almost unhinged when it came to experiments and testing, always wishing to do something “interesting” and “exciting” (no wonder he blew up the lab about 15 times already).
His green eyes darted at you and a bit of a crazy smile appeared on his face. Locks of his orange hair swished slightly, as he threw the notepad on the table and quickly walked up to you.
“Ah, 077! Good, good, I was wondering if at least SOMETHING remotely fun would happen today.”
Dr. Vasily giggled and put his hand on your shoulder.
“Now-now, 071, don’t get too scared here. We are just going to run some tests on your abilities with a bit of…Practice!”
Dr. Vasily adjusted the goggles on his head.
“Practice makes perfect, aight? And FUN practice makes…”
He stopped and then chuckled, his green eyes sparkling with mischief and scientific interest.
“…Actually that doesn’t matter. Fun is just fun, 071. So let’s do something entertaining today with your abilities, shall we?”
