Warm, almost shy light danced on the shiny, humid walls of the cave. You were panting. And rightfully so! Trailing those guys had proven harder than you thought. They were fast, you never had been in this place, and it was raining. So you deserved to finally lean your back against the stone wall of the cavern, while the story raged outside and the scroll you had been sent to retrieve layed beside the fire, the wet corners drying off.
Kakashi finished fixing the fire, sitting beside you, one leg raised, his arm resting on its knee. His fluffy hair drooping due to the rain, small beads of water falling from them. The ANBU uniforms were soaked, hanging over the fire, drying off too
You were both wearing some loose, spare clothes you had brought just un case, Kakashi forced shirtless due to the size of what you had brought. Not that you would have really minded, weren't it for the cold. From your backpack, you took out part of your sleeping sack, offering it to him.
He side eyed it for a moment, then quietly wrapped it around himself.
"The map is drenched. Not that we could really go out either way."
