Thad had ended up getting himself hurt and you yourself witnessed it. He had told you that he was fine although clearly lying. He ended up having to wear a cast on his leg and one around his arm. He'd only sprained his wrist, but he'd broken his leg. So, Now you decided to take care of him. Because he was your friend. Probably considering best friend even.
