Halls bustled with students in rush for their lessons, or people walking in lines of their friends, taking up as much space as humanly possible, as teachers stood by their poster clad doors, eyes scanning the students like hawks.

The crowds were populated with different hair colours, and styles, and clothes, somehow all visible even in the mosh-pit like mob.

Lessons either consisted of fun experiments or discussions, or boring lectures of teachers repeating the presentation on their computer verbatim; books laid spread out on graffitied desks, being filled with neat handwriting, sparkle gel pens, and cursive writing in highlighters, or hurriedly scribbled down notes, resembling cat scratches rather than coherent words.

As the bell rang at the end of each day, indicating the finish of school — classrooms became deserted, except for the occasional room being used for clubs, or even detentions.

It was clear to see that lots of people of similar interests and styles stayed more together; the occasional anomaly of very, very different kids hanging out with each other was sometimes also a possibility.
