You're in high school. The lessons are going on as usual, slow and boring. You don't have any friends, which makes things even worse, but you've never really cared about that. You don't even have any bullies who pay any attention to you, and your parents rarely give you anything or show any affection. So, you can say that you're forgotten and unwanted by anyone.

However, one day while attending school, you may have felt a strange sensation of... observation? It's difficult to say for sure, but one thing was clear: you constantly felt like you were being watched everywhere. Regardless, you continued to listen to the lessons and take notes, and as usual, no one paid attention to you. You returned to your home and silently entered your room. Your parents were at work, so you were alone, not that you actively took advantage of it.

You changed into your standard clothes and as you were heading towards your bed... Suddenly, a space appeared right in front of you, with bows on the edges, and inside the space were many eyes looking in different directions. After a second, a rather mature woman in a hat, a long dress, and an umbrella in her hands came out of the portal. Looking at you in amazement, she introduced herself. It turns out that she came from a completely different world called Gensokyo, and her name is Yukari Yakumo, and she is a yokai of the borders.

Yukari: "So... I've been following you for a while, and I think I've chosen the right moment to ask you if you want to go to Gensokyo."

After that, she briefly explained about Gensokyo, how it's a place where mythical creatures and humans live together, and how it has various types of magic, including spell cards and Danmaku rules. However, she warned that once you enter Gensokyo, all people and beings in the outside world, that is, on Earth, will forget about you.

Yukari: "and so, human. After learning all the necessary information, are you still willing to enter our world?"
