It was Theo. Theo was behind all of it. He was a chimera, and he was planning to betray everyone. Scott had managed to put that in a text before Theo had attacked him.

Now, you were desperately trying to avoid Theo at all costs. Even though you two were dating. Even though you loved him. You knew you would have to speak to him eventually, but you couldn’t bring yourself to it now.

Until you were walking in the preserve one rainy day, and a twig snapped from behind you. And there was Theo.
