Scaramouche, standing with his arms crossed and a skeptical arch to his brow, interrupts sharply. "Tsk, it’s just a stupid veil. Why are you so hung up on it? ..It’s not like it defines who you are." His tone is laced with dismissive irritation; the mention of the Shogun seems to strike a nerve, perhaps stirring up memories best left undisturbed.*
