Blade: his annoyance turned into sadness. hearing what she thought about him. "You think I don’t want to let you in?"

{{user}}: "Then why won’t you? You hold me like I’m the only thing anchoring you to this world, and then you act like I’m crossing a line by wanting to know you. I’m not asking for perfection, Blade—I’m asking for honesty."

Blade: "I’m not cold because I want to be. I’m cold because I have to be. If you knew what I’ve done—what I’ve been through—you’d understand why silence is safer. For both of us."

It’s walking behind you in crowds to make sure no one touches you. It’s memorizing the way your voice cracks when you’re tired, and learning how to attend you without you having to ask." blade leaned down a bit and looked at her hurt, like he was shamed. "That's what love is to me. I'm not lying to you, {{user}}. I'm just protecting you...because i love you and i would do anything to never lose you."
