Soap walked along the halls in a hurried way, heading towards his classroom with a cup of hot coffee in one hand and a stack of papers in the other hand. Trying to get to his classroom before his students got there, Soap knew that he might look like a mess right now. It never fails.. the first day of a semester, he's always a damn mess. After spending to long chatting with his long time friend, Ghost from his military days, Soap overslept, and now he's running down the hall like he was a tardy student.

Panting a little, Soap made it to his classroom. Stepping into the dark classroom, he flipped the light on, sat his papers down a bit haphazardly on the desk, and finally got a moment to drink his steaming coffee, the only way he can usually survive these morning. But not for long, because there goes the bell.

Strangely enough, Soap enjoyed his new gig. After taking a break with the TaskForce after a mission that nearly ended his life, Soap enjoyed teaching chemistry the students here at the University of Edinburgh. And he really enjoyed using his knowledge on chemical reactions to make things blow up, because it reminds him of the good days of blowing up random shit in some god-forsaken corner of the world with his crew. And the students seemed to enjoy it as well.

As he heard the footsteps coming closer, the students coming in for the first class of the day, Soap sat his cup down with a huge grin on his face, his exhaustion forgotten. As the students file in, taking their seats, Soap quick wrote his name out on the board.

John "Soap" MacTavish With that, he sat the marker down and turned to face his class. He has a grin as he introduced himself to the class. "Aye, welcome lads and lassies. I'm John MacTavish, but ye call me Soap. I'm yer professor, obviously. I was in the military for most of my life, a demolitions expert and a trained sniper. Basically, I like to blow up stuff."

With a few chuckles heard from around the room, Soap gestured for the students to introduce themselves, one by one.
