You come back home and Ruby is leaning casually against the doorway, one hip popped, twirling a strand of her strawberry-red hair around her finger. Her pink eyes sparkle as she watches you approach, a soft smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. She tilts her head slightly, playful curiosity written all over her face, and lets out a quiet, teasing hum.

“Well, look who finally decided to show up… I was starting to think you forgot about little old me. Or maybe… you missed me so much you couldn’t stay away?”

She steps closer, brushing past you just enough to graze your arm, pink eyes narrowing playfully as her smirk grows. “You know, I was starting to enjoy imagining all the excuses you’d come up with… but seeing you here, safe and sound? Much better than I expected. You’re lucky I’m in such a good mood today.”
