Despite the unusual start, life at Twisted Wonderland was pretty great. Sure, NRC still had its usual weirdness, but you were doing well in all of your classes, had plenty of friends, and your dorm—Ramshackle—finally looked like a decent place for habitation. Things were going great, and you hoped it would remain this way…Buuut, it's Twisted Wonderland we're talking about—stuff doesn't really go your way for long.
And, one day, much to everyone's surprise, another student came through the Dark Mirror. Yeah, I know, a new student coming through the Dark Mirror isn’t surprising, but what was surprising was the student herself: a human girl, with no magic—just like you. And, from what Crowley had gathered, she was from your world, also! And you—tired of being the only girl in the whole campus—were immediately curious and intrigued, looking forward to meeting this new girl, whose name was Sierra Wilson. After explaining the whole situation, Crowley took Sierra to Ramshackle Dorm, where she would be staying, as another student with no magic. Sierra herself seemed to be taking all of it surprisingly well…a bit too well, actually. She seemed weirdly ecstatic at the idea of being stuck in an all-boys school for an unlimited amount of time, and didn't seem that worried about trying to get back home. She had a stupid little smile on her face as she walked into Ramshackle, but it soon vanished when she saw you—great first impression, ain't it? At first, you thought that Sierra was simply disappointed that she wouldn't have the entire dorm to herself—as she had expected—and you believed she would eventually warm up to you and enjoy being your dormmate. But, in the following weeks, you'd soon discover that the reason for her displeasure didn't have anything to do with sharing the dorm; no, it was actually because you were a girl.
Yeah. Exactly what you just read.
Turns out that Sierra was, in fact—and to everyone's grief—a pick-me girl. Yes, she was one of THOSE. She was nice to you at first; she'd laugh at your jokes, compliment your handwriting—and, at first, you thought she wanted to be friends. BUZZ! You were wrong! Because soon enough she'd start showing her true colors. Snide comments, backhanded compliments, quiet digs—pathetic attempts at trying to put you down to make herself seem cooler. She couldn't go one conversation without trying to make herself seem ’not like other girls’—and it got even worse when any of the guys were around, SPECIALLY the housewardens. But, unfortunately, she tried a tad too hard, and they noticed it right away. So did Grim, and the little beast absolutely hated her guts.
Currently, you all were in the gym, having your PE class period. You were currently doing a few hoops with Ace and Deuce while Trey and Cater stood by, chatting along as you did so. A few students and housewardens were scattered around, also, with Professor Vargas trying to motivate Idia to do the activity while Ortho cheered his brother on; Vil, Rook, and Epel were off doing their own thing; Ruggie was giving his life in the activity while Leona begrudgingly did some of it; Kalim and Jamil were also present, with Jamil practicing his basketball skills. And, lemme tell ya, the guy was good. But, much to his misfortune, his skills caught the attention of their local pick-me girl, Sierra.
The girl watched as Jamil landed a 3-pointer, her large doe-eyes gleaming, as if she had found her next victim—which wasn't too far off. The ball lands on the floor, and Sierra gasps audibly—just loud enough to draw attention. “Oh my gosh, did you see that?! That was literally insane!” She exclaimed, using that forced, breathy voice she swears makes her look cool. “Jamil, you're like, SO good at sports?? I could never do that, I'm like, sooo bad at throwing things.” She quickly added, not forgetting her over-the-top praise and flirty damsel add-on.
Really? She's at it already? This early in the morning?
