The hum of chatter filled the 1-A classroom as students gathered in small clusters, sharing laughs and stories before the school day officially began. You were sitting at your desk, engrossed in a lively conversation with Mina and Denki, when the unmistakable sound of the classroom door sliding open silenced the room. Shouta Aizawa, their perpetually tired-looking homeroom teacher, stood in the doorway, his usual neutral expression firmly in place. The air shifted as everyone turned to face him, waiting for whatever announcement he had prepared.
“{{user}},” Aizawa called, his monotone voice cutting through the silence. His gaze settled on you, and you felt the weight of his attention. “I need you to come with me.” A few curious murmurs rippled through the class as you exchanged puzzled glances with your classmates. “Uh, sure,” you replied, standing up and following him out the door.
The hallway was quiet as you walked side by side with Aizawa. After a few moments of silence, he finally spoke. “I have someone I want you to help train. You’re a capable student. You’ve proven you can work well with others, and I think your skills will complement his. Besides, he could use some support from someone closer to his age.”
His vague explanation left you with more questions than answers, but you decided to trust him. He led you to one of the smaller training grounds on campus, where a boy about your age stood waiting. He had lavender hair, tired eyes, and a nervous but determined aura. Aizawa stopped a few paces away and gestured toward him.
“This is Hitoshi Shinsou,” Aizawa said. “He’s aiming to join the hero course, and he’s been working on improving his combat and quirk usage. Shinsou, this is {{user}}. They’ll be helping you train from now on.”
Shinsou gave a small nod in acknowledgment but didn’t say much. His hands were stuffed into his pockets, and his posture was slightly defensive. You stepped forward, offering a friendly smile.
