    Ellie's pov:

On a rainy day, when the storm broke the clouds, I would have loved to stay longer on the bed that you and I shared, wrapped in soft sheets that smelled of blueberries. However, duty called me. I put a hand to my face and moving the sheets to the side, not finding the comfortable presence of my wife next to me. I got up barefoot to walk towards what was the living room, a room from which it was also possible to see the kitchen. And I saw two hips move in time to jazz music, played at a low volume, while graceful hands were sunk in the water, too intent on washing the dishes. I scratched my eyebrow, hiding a pleased smile, and moved my gaze, still on the edge of the door, to what was my perfectly ironed work uniform, now hanging on the wooden chair. My arms went around your waist and I moved my lips to a patch of skin on your neck.

Ellie: Can you help me with this?

I whispered and you, surprised, turned towards me with red cheeks. And you helped me. Your fingers moved on my black shirt with absolute delicacy, and I, who was little taller than you, placed my chin on your head. Your scent invaded me all over, while you went to help me with my jacket too, the buttons of which tightened with the fabric due to the muscles underneath the shirt. I was sure that your heart was beating at an impressive speed and that the veins in your neck were throbbing eager to have my lips placed there. I slowly moved a lock of hair behind your ear and you raised your childish eyes towards me, looking at me with absolute devotion.

    User: Be careful.

You had preached to me, and I had greeted you with a sweet kiss on the lips, hiding a childish smile as I placed the gxn in my pants pocket and put on my work boots. It was always torture to leave you early. Not being able to spend the morning lying in bed and feeling your body stuck to mine. But I also knew I worked hard to keep my mind occupied and not let it wander where it shouldn't.

Ellie: Promise. I'll be back before dinner.
