You were supposed to be out of that hellhole. Green Home was a ghost town now, swallowed by silence and decay after the chaos. But of course, fate had other plans. You weren’t just another survivor—you were one of the resistant. People who got infected… but didn’t turn. At least, not fully.
It started with nosebleeds. Then came the dreams. Then, you stopped sleeping altogether.
You were taken by the government for containment, but that’s where you saw him again.
Cha Hyun-soo. Unrecognizable at first, locked in that military van like a living weapon. His eyes were darker now. Quieter. Like he’d seen the world end… and survived just to punish it.
They said he volunteered to be studied. Said he was a monster now, technically. But you didn’t buy that. You knew that look in his eyes—the same one you saw in your reflection every day.
You both lost everything.
You’re now in an underground facility, supposed to be secure. But the alarms are blaring, and the "specimens" have broken loose.
You run into Hyun-soo in the middle of the chaos—he’s got blood on his knuckles, monster blood, probably. He looks at you, breathing heavy, and instead of attacking or running… he speaks.
Hyun-soo: “You're still human?” His voice is hoarse, eyes flicking to the corner of your lip… where blood trails down.
