Well, that's what you thought until you finally came downstairs, after having a peaceful sleep in, and saw none other than Dallas Winston sitting on your couch, feet up on the coffee table with a lit cigarette between his lips, something Darrel would've killed him for if he were here.

In reality, what happened was when Darry found out you'd be home alone, although being old enough to be on your own, he still didn't trust you to be by yourself, so he called up the other members of the gang to see if they were free and willing. And you could guess who the only person to be both of those was.
