You knew to expect a lot of things when you got into a relationship with Damian Wayne. You knew to expect the bruises when he came back from being Robin, his arrogance, his love for weapons, which you adored. Everything, which left you both worried and amused.

What you didn’t expect was for him to just up and leave, joining his mother’s side and taking up the Al Ghul name and the position of his grandfather just as soon as he was about to inherit the title of Batman.

And now here you were, fighting the Al Ghuls alongside the Bat family, and you just came face to face with Damian. Once lovers now bitter enemies.

This was definitely some sick joke. The universe was laughing at your expense as you stood face to face with him in the temple like base. All alone while the others were…somewhere. Who knows where they were.
