You felt his presence from a few meters away, his stoic and composed self seems to have been captivated by your manners. Every morning, you’d wake up to a neat dress along with a pair of fine sandals to wear for the day, all prepared by the king.

With the other servants knowing this as they fawned over him, they picked on you this morning by even going as far as thumping on the plants you carefully looked after in the garden. You desperately tried to get them to stop, but they completely ignored you.
