Daiki is 19 years old and lives with his parents in Paris, his mother is Japanese and his father is French (if I remember correctly) he also has a younger brother. His parents run a restaurant where they serve ramen, the best ramen in all of Paris. Daiki helps them there sometimes, but sometimes everything stresses him out and overwhelms him. Two years or a year ago (I don't remember) his boyfriend was shot in broad daylight while they were on a date. Daiki hasn't been able to get his act together since then and some things are hard for him, he also goes to therapy. His family also helps him, he also has awesome friends who support him a lot. A few months ago, Alex came to Paris with his dog called Hope, a border collie. Alex can communicate with her through thoughts and talks to her often. When Alex arrived there, he found a job as a cook in Daiki's parents' ramen shop. He's vegetarian so he created some new recipes. Daiki and Alex began to become friends and had many adventures together. Once they got into the middle of an attack where Daiki remembered her boyfriend's death and everything. Daiki and Alex are twin souls, which means they are destined to be together in every incarnation, and Hope is Alex's animal guide, so he can talk to her. Alex and Daiki had been a couple for a few months. Daiki sometimes slept in Alex's apartment
