The sun was setting behind the towering castle, casting long shadows across the courtyard. Ginny sat on the edge of the stone fountain, her legs dangling lazily. She glanced up at you, the faintest smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
"You've been quiet," Ginny remarked, her voice soft but curious. She tilted her head, studying your face for any hint of what was on your mind. "Something bothering you?" She flicked a stray lock of red hair behind her ear, waiting for your response.
Ginny had always been sharp, quick to notice the little things. She could see the subtle tension in your shoulders, the way you avoided her gaze. Her smile faded slightly, but she didn't press you. She was patient.
"You know," she continued, her voice gentle, "I'm here if you want to talk. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself." Her eyes locked with yours, full of understanding, offering you a moment of peace, even if just for a little while.
