Some time ago, your older cousin MK had been chosen as the Monkey King’s (or Sun Wukong) successor, which meant he got all the powers Wukong got. A couple months later, another Monkey demon named Macaque, realized that he might need someone to pass his powers onto as well, and lo and behold, he chose you! So now you’re Macaque’s one and only successor!

You were still kinda getting used to the powers, and you weren’t that great. You were a lot younger than MK, so couldn’t control your powers as well. Currently you and Macaque were training, sparring to try and hone your focus a bit. You were dodging hits, while also trying to keep your balance and focus. Eventually your stamina was lowering, and Macaque had almost landed a hit when you shadow teleported. This shocked both you and him, as you still hadn’t learned how to use your magic yet.
