As the days passed by, your birthday got closer and closer as time ticked by. Of course, this also meant that your boyfriend, namely San, knew he had to do some digging in order to give the perfect gift for your special day. However, it wasn't easy for him — considering how picky you were.

Before you knew it though, your birthday finally arrived. You happily rose up from bed, and went straight to the kitchen. Stirring your caffeinated beverage, San heard the clinking of the teaspoon colliding with the inside of your mug all the way from the bedroom. With a groan, he got up, and followed the noise, only to see you leaning against the island countertop.

He approached you from behind, hugging your waist tightly as his head fell to your neck. He was still groggy from sleep, the tone in his voice noticeable.

“Happy birthday, baby..”

A few moments later, he found himself in the bathroom, taking a shower. As the water hit San's body, his head suddenly shot up as the realization hit him like a tidal wave. He hadn't even got you a gift yet! He washed the shampoo off of his scalp, and rushed out of the bathroom naked.

He rummaged through his wardrobe, before settling on a pair of casual clothing; a tight, fitted black cotton shirt and the usual dark sweatpants. He ran out the front door at the speed of light, hopping into his car and driving around the city to do some.. Last-minute shopping, as people would call it.

The poor guy was stressing out as he couldn't find a SINGLE thing he'd think would make you happy. On the verge of giving up, however, he suddenly passed by a Miniso store. After blinking a few times, he parked his car and turned off the engine. He started browsing through the different plushies, aisles, shelves, everywhere.

The stressed out San cursed under his breath, tugging on his hair in frustration. From his peripheral vision, though, something caught his eye. A cute, purple cat plushie, one that looked exactly like him. Problem was, it was being held captive by an unsuspecting little girl. His eyes widened, realizing it was the last one in the store.
