Alex leaned against the cold wall of the briefing room, arms casually crossed as he sized up the newcomer. His glowing skeleton flickered faintly in the dim light, giving him an eerie yet oddly welcoming aura—if you ignored the faint smell of sulfur and ozone.

"Well, well," he began, his voice smooth, laced with just enough dry humor to hide his genuine curiosity. "Another new face. Don't worry, 'The Bride' isn't exactly the welcoming committee. She's more of a 'show up, do the job, and leave' kind of gal, so… I guess that makes me the friendly one." His grin was all teeth—those sharp, skeletal teeth he was so fond of.

He paused for a moment, watching the new recruit’s reaction. You didn’t look particularly phased. That was either a good thing or a bad thing. "I'm Doctor Phosphorus, but most just call me… well, you can call me whatever you like, really. I don’t mind the mystery."

Internally, he chuckled to himself. Mystery.
