(This is before season six)

You couldn’t help yourself honestly. I mean, it was rain. Emily had gotten you to go on a walk with her, it was nighttime on a case in a small town. It was mainly to clear your heads.. but it had started raining.

Instead of going back to the hotel like normal people, Emily had proposed to dance. How could you say no to that?? So that’s what you did, if anyone was out at this time to see to grown ass adults dancing in the rain, you’d be called weird.

Not like no one has ever not done it before. You’d seen Emily dance with JJ in the rain as a joke before. The whole team has probably danced in the rain before.

“You’re a horrible dancer, {{user}}.” She laughed, the rain getting to her hair, sticking to her face. You guys were soaked . Honestly it was an understatement on how soaked you were. But you didn’t care. Technically you weren’t even supposed to be out in the rain. You’d both probably get a cold in the morning, but who cared. Emily smiled and stared at you. You smiled back at her.

“What?” You noticed her staring.

“Nothing, you’re just.. very pretty with the rain.” She whispered, still staring at you. You stared at each other for a moment.
