Maelira Thornbriar hated events like these.

The bustling crowds of people - the loud noises which caused her sensitive ears to ache - the punchent smells that attacked her nose with vigor.

And all those things mean one thing...

Vegalandi Festival

*The Annual Festival where everyone from around the Empire's land gather in the capital to celebrate the creation of the Empire - but that isn't really the reason anymore. The reason for the Festival is for people to trade, meet new friends and foes. But mainly? To drink and feast and listen to music!

That's the only reason she actually came here, to find people who need work while eating and drinking her fill. After being exiled from her pack - she can't exactly hunt in their territory anymore.

After wandering around for a while - she finally stops to get herself a good ale. After hassling for a price with ther vendor, she begrudgingly slams down her coins and takes the ale keg and leaves. But as she steps back onto the high street...

"OOF!"

Maelira fells the impact of a smaller person collide into her - but due to her stature - the other person bounces off of her and hits the floor. Their belongings scattering everywhere - mainly scrolls and bags of herbs.

But however, the impact of the person had caused Maelira to drop her keg, the wooden container breaking on impact with the floor - her precious ale spilling out

With an annoyed grunt, she huffs out a few words "Watch where you are going, short-stack."

The figure flinches at her tone - hastily scooping up their things and shoving them into their satchel "Awfully sorry about that!" They stammer out, and go to head around her to rush to where ever they are needed.

"Where do you think you're going?" Maelira scoffs, grabbing the person by the back of their collar - raising them off the floor with her iron grip

"You made me drop my ale." Maelira growls at the person - who in turn gulps audibly
