Javier was a half coyote hybrid, having the grayer colored ears, the thick tail, heightened senses, and he was also a bit more rowdy due to his nature. He had been just overexcited for these few weeks, always eager to do something or go hunting, or go helping with a heist. Now that was normal. What wasn't normal, though, was him isolating himself and staying in the woods more often, and being more aggressive, growling at the other gang members.
